Customer guide: skip the waiting room.

1. Create your account

You can look at salons without an account. You need one to join a waiting list.

1. 1Open the sign in page, stay on the Customer tab and choose Sign up.
2. 2Enter your name, 10-digit mobile number, email and a password (8 or more characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a special character, no spaces). Or use Sign in with Google.
3. 3Type the 6-digit code we email you. It works for 10 minutes.

A mobile number must be saved on your profile before you can join a waiting list. If you signed up with Google, add it in Profile.

2. Find a salon

• Open Find a salon and type a salon name, city or address in the search box.
• Each card shows if the salon is Open or Closed, how many people are waiting and a rough wait of about 15 minutes per person. Salons with nobody waiting say Available now.
• Open a salon to see its page.

3. The salon page

• Address, phone and email, and an Open or Closed tag based on today's hours.
• Live waiting list: how many are waiting and the estimated wait.
• Services with price and duration, and the opening hours for the week.
• Products the salon sells, and a photo gallery. Products cannot be bought online. Visit the salon to buy.

4. Join the waiting list

1. 1On the salon page choose Join Waiting List. If you are not signed in it says Login to Book.
2. 2You are taken to your booking page showing your position.

• You can join only when the salon is open. Outside its hours the button is disabled or you see when it opens and closes.
• You can have one active booking at a salon at a time.
• Standing in the shop already? Ask the staff. They can add you with just your name, no account needed.

5. Track your turn

• Your booking page shows your position, people ahead and the estimated wait. It updates by itself.
• When you are about two places from your turn we send an email, and a phone alert if you installed the app.
• When the staff start your service the page says You're being served.
• If the salon cancels your booking you are told, and you can rejoin.

6. Leave the waiting list

Choose Leave waiting list on your booking while you are still waiting. You lose your position and must rejoin if you change your mind. Once your service has started you cannot cancel it yourself. Ask the salon.

7. Your bill

• After your service the salon creates your bill. It lists each service, any discount, the total and whether you paid Cash or Online. A PDF is emailed to you if the salon has your email.
• Find all your bills in My Bookings under the Bills tab, and download the PDF from there.

8. My bookings

• Active: bookings that are waiting or being served, with a Track button and a way to leave.
• History: finished and cancelled visits.
• Bills: bills for completed visits.

9. Your profile

• Change your name and mobile number, or set a new password (you need your current password).
• Your email cannot be changed because it is your login.
• Forgot your password? Choose Forgot password on the sign in page. The reset link works for 15 minutes.

10. Install the app for alerts

• GetMySaloon works in your browser with nothing to download. To get phone alerts even when the browser is closed, add it to your home screen.
• Android and desktop show an Install button. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. This needs iOS 16.4 or later, and you may be asked to tap Enable notifications.
• Without the app you still get emails.
